What's this about?

A cave at the foot of a waterfall. Soft currents of water fall down mossy green rock that extends heavenward, nourishing the eye. Love you!

juicy poetry & tales, of course!

bardic bullion started as an ongoing poetry project (2018-present) over on my (still active) wordpress. While I still post there, I thought why not give bardic bullion a site of her own? So I traveled and found a new home for my recurring poetry diary cycle (saison calendular), prose, radio show, music mixtapes, and all that my imagination cooks up.

Time is flying • I desire to create more than I consume • enjoy luscious what I can when I can, rejoice despite • rest • respect every bit of beauty I can • believe I&we deserve it. This lifts my spirits and grows my inner fortitude; this is the spirit of bardic bullion.

Without your readership and attention, my creations and art would be incomplete. Thank you for sharing your time and attunement with me. Thank you for visiting and subscribing to bardic bullion, an independent publication that is completely reader (and bard)-supported.

Venture into the cave

If you do choose to subscribe, you receive access to the full archive of bardery and bardescence, as well as community: I welcome reader-subscribers to comment and share my work widely as you wish, but above all, gather together. We're all in this together, and I am both humbled and honored by being and growing in community with you. Thank you.

As well, all of the juice will be hand-delivered to your door (by way of email). Consider me your very own bard crossing your path every so often with word, a laugh, song, certainly hogwash.

About me

My first memories of wanting to be an author and write books are from when I was about three years old. I lay under the big tree in the front yard, watching the clouds go by, imagining myself in that future and grinning. Everything I've done professionally flows from that time, and I have not wavered.

I earned degrees in creative writing and English literature which seem, somehow, more and more valuable by the day, outliving the propaganda that studying the arts and devoting your life to reading and writing is worthless.

Along the way I've worked as a journeyman, hoping to put away some ducats and experience to bankroll my writing and reading: food service (honing my fine ice creamery artistry), customer service (indie bookstore (RIP), phone agent for a ticket reseller, receptionist-blogger for a jiu jitsu gym), Asst. Editrix of Fiction for Storm Cellar literary journal, Associate Editor for B2B home building glossies; and a Team Lead with Ballotpedia's Elections Team, specializing in the U.S. courts. I'm deeply fascinated by power and abuse dynamics, corruptions in our selves, in our families, in our societies. Visit my website for brass tacks.

Stay wavy, my friends.
